Hello Frankie!

I enjoyed reading your blog about how open learning principles and the use of multimedia resources, making education more inclusive and accessible. I also enjoyed your take on youtube, TikTok, and AI use and how they are great educational resources and how they could further evolve.

Your point of online learning providing learning opportunities to small remote communities, that they otherwise would not have had access to, really stood out to me. This is an extremely important and not talked about nearly enough topic. As an Indigenous person myself with family who still live in remote communities with limited access to resources including education, I feel incredibly happy to see this point being brought into discussion as one of the many benefits of online learning. Additionally, this can be further evolved by making education accessible in peoples Native language, which although challenging would also help decrease the rates of language extinction.

I loved your points about TikTok being used as an educational resource. I also love to use TikTok to keep up on special interests! I love how people are able to express themselves and share tips of all kinds in short, effective, and visually entertaining ways. The use of these multimedia platforms can be very useful tools in education. As I spoke about in my blog, the use of these tools can be especially important for people who need more individualized learning experiences.

Thank you for sharing!
